Max's Wine Bar, a quaint, social restaurant with lively atmosphere and friendly professional service and
is situated in a charming 800 year old building in the Centre of Kinsale.

The Restaurant is owner run by Anne Marie ( front of house) and her husband Olivier who is head chef since 1999.

We stock a comprehensive list of wines, featuring an excellent selection of wines by the glass.

We offer classic French cuisine with an Irish - twist, and come highly recommended by most leading guide books.

Empasis is placed on local seafood and meat in a keenly priced, well balanced menu.

For lunch we specialize in seafood and offer a keenly priced two course menu as well as offering a lighter option of some of Ireland's wonderful produce,please feel free to browse our menu.



Low season ;open Wednesdayt to Sunday nightly and lunch Friday to Sunday.
High season ; open 6 days lunch and dinner, closed normaly Tuesdays.Annual closure for 2008; December 14th to mid March 2009.
