The award-winning 'Pier One' restaurant is situated in the 'new look' Trident Hotel, directly overlooking the water. 'Pier One' was newly refurbished in 2007.
Here the discerning diner may enjoy delicious food prepared by our talented team of chef's under the guidance of our New Executive Chef Denis Galland. Denis isn't a complete stranger to the Trident Hotel as he worked as Sous Chef here until 1997 when he left to take up a Head Chef position and further his experience in the Tourism & Hospitality Industry. Denis is from Burgundy, France but has lived in Ireland with his family for many years.
A La Carte and Value menus are available from friendly staff as is an Early Bird Menu in Summer months.
Fresh locally caught seafood is featured on both menus.
The Schooner Lounge and Terrace is the ideal place for relaxing with a pre-dinner drink while watching the activity in the harbour. Or you can relax in the Wharf Tavern, which also offers an extensive Bar Food Menu, served from noon to 9 pm daily and a Bistro Menu from 4pm.
Carvery lunch is also served daily in the bar, and in Pier One on Sundays.
Open nightly all year round.
